I read a posting that mentioned Ohio Flint,,,,,, Can ya find any in the photo The second photo is a batch of beach rocks from Japan. There is a beach there with rocks like these that goes on as far as the eye can see and NO ONE collects themexcept the man that sent them to me. The 3rd photo is an close up of one of the Japanese beach rocks. Tom Beach Rocks From Japan Close up of Japanese beach rock.

Hey Tom, I'm rolling some flint ridge flint now that I got from Sandman with with red jasper (Sandman) and blue/white lace agate (Ebay). Theyv'e only been in for 24 hours and it's the flint that's really popping! It isn't that impressive rough, even wet, but after 24 hours it' starting to show what it's all about. There is some that was just black at first and now all the internal stuff is showing through. It's gonna be beautiful, I'm sure. Thanks for the pics ;D

Well, I don't know the Ohio flint from the rest of them, but that is one beautiful batch of rocks! And the beach rocks are really pretty! I love the close up one with all the fractures. It reminds me of something. I can't think of what right now, but I sure do like it! Great shine on those babies! ;D

Hello Tom,
Great looking stones! I wish I had a beach like that! Well probably not really ... then all of the other people on the beach would be pointing their fingers and laughing as I filled every pocket and filled my arms with as much rock as I could carry ... I wouldn't be able to keep my pants up!
Enjoy,
John

WOW,,,,,,What a responce!!!! Thank You Thank You Thank You!!!!!!!! Forgive me for not using your names in this reply but I can't remember them all and I don't think I can click back and forth to the replies. That is flintridge in the center of the 1st pic and I do love it. The rock in the close up doesn't have any fractures. What you are seeing are inclusions inside the rock. This type of beach rock is MUCH harder then the others and has to be tumbled seperately.I have another photo of the same rock back lit and I'll post it as well along with a few other little dittys. Thanks Folks,,,,,,,You're Great!!!!!! Tom Ps excuse my spelling,,,,Andy gave us the chatroom in a flash,,,,,do ya think he'll give ME a spell check? ??
