I seen some long earwires somewhere. I think I kind if replicated them. What do you think? Are they wearable? Should I just make a more traditional wire?

They look like they would hit the shoulder. I like the earring part, and would keep it closer to the ear, and end it behind the earring.

Those are awesome. Ive been seeing a lot of that style lately. I would shorten the back to the bottom of the earring or even the half-way point, but I bet they would sell just as is

I've sold quite a few with those kind of ear wires. I would shorten the end a little to about half way up the back of the earring part. Some people like really long earrings. I like long earrings- maybe not quite that long, but I do like those.

I'm not a fan of long earrings but have seen ones like that and they do sell.

I really love those! Now I may steal your idea π
Most of the ear wires I make myself look like those. I prefer the back of the wire slightly longer than the front.

I've never heard that before. Is there a reason for this preference? Just curious. It seems to keep the wire seated in my ear. When they are small or shorter on the back, it seems that the wire tries to come out. Could just be my long hair causing a problem too. Not sure why the shorter ones try to exit my ears throughout the day, they just do.

I use a small piece of tubing for the back of all ear wire earrings I make. As long as a person does not have larger holes in their ears, they keep the ear wire snug. Very easy to place on the ear wire. Silly thing is that many of these are spacers for purchased beads. Mostly use that for display only. I have tubing that I cut that is hypoallergenic to include with the earrings. Have a list of materials in it.
