DescriptionLot #12 is a medium flat rate box stuffed with material graciously donated by member fernwood, and the box is filled out on top with a bag of medium sized tumble rough pieces of Gary Green jasper from the Ellipso hole. Tumbling rough size reference photo shown below. Approximate total weight is 20-25 lbs. Gary Green jasper is a moderately challenging material to tumble to perfection due to layering between the color bands and the presence of natural pitting. I tried my best to hand pick most every piece in the box for color, stability, and minimal pitting. I personally rejected at least double the amount that I put into the boxes but due to the nature of the material, more sorting is inevitable. Auction TermsMinimum Bid: $10 Bid Increments: $2 Added Freight: $14 Payment: Paypal only Auction Start: immediately Auction Close: around 7pm PDT, Monday April 30th (when I post "closed") Photos

Misc. Wyoming material topped with Gary Greensure this isn't Wisconsin material? whoops! yes thank you Bob! I should also mention that there are other stuff in the box besides locally collected material. There's also a large fat slab of the beautiful counter-top scrap material that fernwood posted pictures of elsewhere. Maybe she can elaborate.

Sure, Tommy , put me on the spot here. From what I can remember: The small box has some preforms I won from Tela, some purchased from Fish, a few 1980's tumble size pieces of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, some other locally collected rocks made into preforms/slabettes. The rest are fossils, Jaspers, volcanic material with nice patterns when cut, an example of a large Central WI Oolictic Agate from the Niagara Escarpment, Specular Hematite and Petoskey Stone from Rob and I cannot remember what else. This may be the counter scrap. If not this specific one, something similar. Many areas with flash. About 4-5" by 7-8".

I just meant maybe you'd remember what the piece of counter scrap was so I could scare up a picture but you did much better than that.

All in good fun. Have photos of the larger rough I can post if needed. Just did not take photos of what was in smaller box.
