Welcome gilbert from Northern California. I like my UV-18 better than the UV-10... the action seems smoother... But it is a noisy beast!!! How are you preparing your rocks before putting them into the UV-18? Do you rotary tumble them first in coarse grit before going to the vibe? (Note: the UV-18 bowl will wear away very quickly if you run sharp edged rocks and coarse grit in it. I have found that only 220 grit and finer should be run in the vibe.) Glenn P.S. ...
