I didn't want to hijack the thread from Fernwood so here are the requested photos from the box #2 from Billy (toiv0). Beautiful material and I only hope I can do it justice since I don't have a set of cab wheels =) The Mary Ellen is gorgeous as is the Rio. Sorry, most the photos are not wet - was in a hurry when I took these. I'll try to get more proper photos soon. 1. Jasper and a nice piece of crazy lace at the bottom. I don't know what the top right 3 stones are? Billy (toiv0) 1 by grantbleeker, on Flickr 2. Rio, moonstone, amethyst, some moss agate, and (toiv0) can you remind me what you had in the plastic bag (4 pieces at the top of the pic)? Billy (toiv0) 2 by grantbleeker, on Flickr 3. ME large chunk dual faced (beautiful). Stony Creek, tiger tail Billy (toiv0) 3 by grantbleeker, on Flickr 4. Misc slabs Billy (toiv0) 4 by grantbleeker, on Flickr 5. Another shot Billy (toiv0) 5 by grantbleeker, on Flickr 6. Lakers (haven't sorted yet) Billy (toiv0) 6 by grantbleeker, on Flickr

The one I recognize in the top corner is Rhodonite (black and pink) black part is oxidized Magnesium I believe. The material in plastic bag is Linda Marie from Idaho.

Seams (jk) to be pretty hard and I would throw it in with the agates, just check it on your clean outs. The outer parts grind a little faster.

I've got the Marry Ellen, Rio and Stony Creek ready for the tumbler. Waiting to see how I'm going to incorporate the Stony Creek - maybe it's own load. It seems very porous and more lava-rock esque. We will see. I feel bad because I think that rock specifically should probably have been cab only, but I just don't have that capability. I did free form multiple shapes to see if I can "quasi cab" with a tumbler a-la Garage Rocker. Time will tell. Again - thanks for the amazing box - it's loaded with quality material and I will try to do it justice =) Sax

I gotta say it's a pretty neat thing that many of the pieces are labeled. It cuts out alot of the guesswork and really won't have any impact on finishing down the road. Well done Billy toiv0.

I agree, esp for newbs to the craft such as myself. It's good because I can document it all and remember materials etc.

I appreciated the labels as well. saxplayer. I hope to eventually use the Linda Marie I received for free form cabs in a vibe.
