Hi Garberg Welcome to RTH! Do you know what you have there? There are plenty of rocks in Cyprus that could tumble nicely. Whereabouts did you collect? The geology of Cyprus is pretty complicated- an ophiolite complex .. its a good number of years since I was there but recall pillow basalts (not likely to do so well) and serpentinites (that would). Let us know how you get on.
Btw cabochons are stones cut to shape as you might see in a pendant etc and tumbled are generally a little more irregular - there’s a separate RTH forum section for these.
What are you tumbling with btw?

I'll point out the ones that don't look wet after being wetted probably aren't solid enough to polish. And when you prove me wrong you can say "haha! You were wrong!" And I will congratulate you!
