Thanks all, I didn’t love the shapes of all of them but my next agate batch should be a lot better. Real happy with the shine on these.

I like this batch ... You done a fine job!
The Kambaba looks nice, some say they have a hard time getting it to shine ... no problem here.
How did you like the Mexican Red? The few pieces I've tumbled had too many pits for my liking.

The few pieces I've tumbled had too many pits for my liking. I loved the Mexican red rough but it cracked and fractured a lot. It also was semi softer and diminished in size much faster than the rest. Probably won’t do it again unless only a full batch by itself.

Any advice on how to reduce pits / fractures / cracks in these? Do I *really* need lots of smalls or a much higher ratio of ceramics? I'm running stage 1 in QT12/66 and all other stages in Lot-o with ceramic.

Nice rolls......The thicker the batch (lots of material) with every size, really helps with fractures.. I stuff mine to max... Still some nice tumbling you did!

I def try to stuff them. I don’t exactly know where the too full point is. I’ll have to post a few pics to gauge thoughts.
