The weather final broke here so I got some cutting done. I had 7 end cuts I glued to boards last fall and I was able to get them all finished. Some of the pudding stone is mediocre stuff but should still make some decent gift shop trinkets like magnets.

Just about 25 pounds of slabs in total

I got about 7 more slices of this awesome Cladhora fossil. Found this one Alpena last spring with Jugglerguy

This was a good pudding stone and I got about 11 more slabs from the endcut

I do not care much for this stuff but it is local so I like to have some in stock. Gowganda tillite.

I have not cabbed any (yet) but Jugglerguy has and they looked good. Not an agate/jasper shine but a nice even finish with no undercutting and enough shine to make the pattern pop.

This is just a junk test cab from a thin end cut but it does show that it will make good cabs. I'll try to get a better capture from one of the nicer slabs soon.
