So after coming across a post from Don (Jakesrocks), I decided to follow his advice on soaking one of my Fairburn Agates in Iron Out, drying it, and putting it in baby oil. I'm very pleased with the results. I understand that Don is no longer with us, I wish I could have gotten to know him years ago, he seemed like a very nice and intelligent man according to what I've read. Anyway, here they are.... AWESOME! Yes you missed the pleasure of nothing a great guy, he loved rocks and was great on "Fairburn" agate....

Yeah, even at 51-or maybe it's BECAUSE I'm 51- I can still learn a thing or two. There's so much that I don't know, that's why this site is so awesome!

Wow, that Iron Out really cleaned up the white to let that great banding show through. Wonderful find! Looking forward to getting back up that way someday and actually having one of my very own!
