I wanted to mess around with a piece of this recent pudding stone. This one was a a bit rare with a dark gray/black matrix. These two cabs were originally just supposed to be a test from an thin end cut but I liked them enough to wrap them. I ran out of Fordite wraps so I got one of those done while I was at it. Chuck

I like the second one better than the first. I’m not sure that I like the black in general, but it’s something different. Where’d you get it? Someone must have been trying to unload their second rate stuff on you.

I'll see what the gift shop thinks of them. Like yourself I just like them because they are different. Chuck

Very nice... I'm loving that inlaid girdle wrap, it allows the stone to stand out in all its natural glory. I do like the simple spiral at the top of the first pic, too. Do you use a saw to notch the girdle for wire Drummond Island Rocks?

Great stones and wraps! Well, the fordite isn't stone, but you get my drift. The second one is killer!
