Me too, but the Burro Creek doesn't suck, either!

Hey Tommy... Is that BC from that piece that you and I split? If so, I got some slabbing to do this weekend.

I was at Burro Creek a few weeks ago. I suspect that Tommy camps in the same spot that I do. I found stuff piled up that belongs hundreds of miles away from BC.

Nope sorry, this was a from a 10 lb chunk I bought a few years ago and it's been sitting in my "special" pile. Apparently I had whacked the face but didn't get into the good section before taking it off for whatever reason. When I bought this piece (and another 20 lb one) I didn't know exactly what I was dealing with and I walked away from a 100 lb boulder the guy wanted $1 per lb for - I'm still kicking my own ass about it years later.

Did you find something that had been cut already? I have been known to return rocks to the wild - but always to the place I collected them.

Were you camping out just above the creek bed? No, I camp at the first spot right after the vast field of useless common agate. Just up the hill from where the brecia begins.
