I couldn't stand it, I had to see what was inside this green rock so I took a hammer to it. Guess what?? It's green inside, just like the outside. ;D Funny deal huh? It took about 3 good whacks with the hammer to get it to break. It basically split in half with a couple of smaller chips. The parts that looked red are more of a rusty color. Might be pretty polished, the picture really doesn't do the green justice at all.

Tumble that baby! I would think it is an agate of some sort, so that would be the harness you want to put in with it. In half, thats a nice size for a pretty outcome! Good luck with the new tumbler ;D

Like Cookie says , tumble that baby.
It looks an interesting bit of rock to me, like to see the finished product.
Good luck

That looks like some of the Epidot I did, one of the pieces I tumbled also had some red in it. Yes it does tumble very well. Tami
