I'm recovering from some health issues and plan to sell around 100 slabs in a few months. First step is selection, followed by evaluation, then photographing and posting. For evaluation, I am looking at sold items on ebay. I was able to come up with an approximate valuation of about $20 for the Owyhee, but I don't have a clue on the Blue Biggs. I have a new computer and I can't find my photoshop for correction. The photograph is close What would be a good offering price for the BB? 3x2.5x1/4+?

Pretty pieces, but ebay prices are all over the chart. If auctioning, start at the price you want to get for the piece (for items bought in the last 3 years or so, that's usually not going to be more than you paid for it) and let the buyers bid it from there. Some sellers there seem to have many repeat buyers and regularly get much higher prices than others for similar pieces.
One tip I do know works is to get as close to 80-100 pieces listed concurrently as possible. People who click on one of your items may not be interested in that particular piece, but will go on to browse other of your listings. More different items listed at once = more search results = more clicks that may result in sales. Ebay has been lowering the number of free listings over the past few years, which makes it very difficult for small sellers to keep many items listed each month. You may need to run a combination of fixed-price and auctions to have much of a presence. Ebay is trying to force small sellers to pay for their "stores" (which does tend to drain yet more from the seller's bank account).

Thanks for the information. I should have made it clear. I am planning on selling here. I am not looking to maximize the prices or make money for Ebay.
I will be offering good prices on good material. If I don't want to cab it, I will sell it. Some of the material I don't want to cab is material I have cabbed a lot of.

I don't know, not many. The last time I sorted was some years ago. I need to go through the sorted boxes and dodge the black widow spiders.

You can do some slabs auction style, I would be fun and you may get a little more. Just a thought.
