I promised John (BCL) that I would post a pic of my chessie. Here she is. NOT pregnant btw. But we will try again. Next time we choose a boyfriend that has legs as long as hers! Otter

she's beautiful! we have a beautiful male part lab/part chesapeake that showed up 1-1/2 yrs ago. i called the vets and the shelter just sure someone would be looking for him because he's such a nice looking dog and he had a collar. after 2 wks i was chewing my nails as i didn't want them to call. he was about a yr old and thin as a rail. he's huge but rarely stands tall when in the presence of humans - his back legs cow down. and the first encounter with my cats he almost collapsed his back legs were shaking so. i don't know what he went through but i can only imagine. almost 2 yrs later and he's starting to feel a little more secure and protective of his domain.

That's a very fine looking dog Otter , Thanks for sharing this foto with us. Our dog is called Jesse and it is hard to keep her out of a foto when I am taking shots in the garden haha. She's a black lab.
