Anyone ever buy anything off “wish” ? If you do a search for lapidary you get lots of stuff. Just not sure if they are reputable.
Thanks in advance

Reading some posts on their Facebook page looks like a lo of people complaining they never received their shipments from China.

I have bought some things but nothing lapidary related. It takes a while to receive but so far everything has arrived... Don't expect much for quality, think Dollar Store items and you won't be disappointed.

I've bought diamond coated drill bits from Wish. They were cheaper than what I'd paid on eBay for the same, but the eBay price is now as low as Wish.
The thing I don't like is that they want you to log in via your Facebook or Google acct. I'd rather not give them that info. There is no Wish login. Lynn

I go to alibaba express for really cheap stuff where great quality and fast shipping is not imperative. I'm guessing it is about the same thing.

So do what I do and make up a junk email that I use for companies that I know will either sell my info or be sending me sales crap all the time. This way all this is kept separate from my primary email account.

I agree with James on this one, I have purchased numerous Lapidary related items from wish. I use a junk email that I keep for such purchases. The stuff takes roughly 20-35 days to arrive(sometimes earlier sometimes a little later) the quality is comparable to other foreign items ,the diamond hole drills are decent as long as you run slow with good lubricants, same as the lap wheels, I run 8" wheels and so far so good.one two times did I not receive my orders and they paid me back quickly. These are just my options, I do my best to buy USA only but we all need to save a few bucks for he next Rockhound trip or box of new materials right ?

My daughter has bought a number of non-lapidary items from them. They take forever to arrive and sometimes never do. However, after an appropriate amount of time, you can tell them that it is lost and they refund your money without question. Sometimes the item arrives anyway, a long time afterwards. In my humble opinion, you get what you pay for. I don't think Amy has actually worn any of the clothes or used any of the items she thought she wanted/needed.
