I'm only posting this as a BIF. I gave this post a bad title, not sure people get that there's something to see here...or maybe it is just me.

I'm glad you looked, cookster, I shouldn't have put them up under the cutesy name, they deserved better. I was speechless when I saw this stuff.

Hey Puppie, I think people were looking, we just weren't replying 'cause you said to just look and not to comment. Absolutely amazing stuff!

Hi rollingstone and others, I wasn't bi...ing about lack of responses, just that I noticed that the post was falling off of the front page and I knew that people were missing something so extremely cool because I got cute with the title.
BE, bless you, I wish they were mine! No, we took these pix at The Rock Shed in Keystone SD, a company run by a great guy named Shawn that many of us have ordered from.

Puppie, I didn't think the title was cutesy, I thought it was appropriate. But when I read the thread first time around, I wanted to reply to those impressive photos. But I saw your note about read only, don't comment, so I did exactly that. I'm glad someone finally broke the ice and replied, as that opened things up for general comments IMO.

Rollingstone, I must be having brain lock, because when I posted the photos after at least an hour or two of trying because I couldn't get the sizing right, I said that about not commenting meaning there wasn't any need for ME to run my mouth! Feel free to comment or not, as you choose. I must have rocks in my head, as my mommy and daddy always said. By day, I am a klutz also, having just fed half my coffee to my mouse. Have a good one!

Those are some great pieces of pet wood. I understood your title quite well. I think it is perfect for the photos. Tami

Great pics puppies! Really nice wood! I hope we will still be buds now that you don't need me anymore . The cutesy title wasn't too bad, could have been worse. You might have called it: " Shawns woody pics " ttyl, Don

Hi Don! Wondered where you've been. WOW I see you are chatty today. I don't have time to even read all your comments let alone respond. Hey, I felt bad about dumping all my photos on you to post when I'm capable of figuring it out for myself. It's so easy to be lazy when somebody else will push the right buttons and I am trying to overcome my tendencies to be that way. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Shawn's place is way way way cool. Have a good one.

Puppie, Did you buy anything while you were at Shawn's? That's got to be a silly question!
OK, where's the pics? Show us what you got! BE

Oh Barb, I'm sorry, picture taking time is limited. I'm not great with the digital camera, it takes some effort. In addition to which, there is so much trancing going on over all the western wock, there's no time left for photos. Really, I have got a ton of stuff and I have even finished a "speed polish" one weeker in the vibe and they look pretty damn good. This is all rock we picked up so of course there's a huge curiosity factor.
Yeah, I bought rock from Shawn! First of all, I couldn't stop picking up the rock lying around in his front yard. These are his tumbler sized scrap pieces of whatever. Some nice stuff in there!! Then I bought some bloodstone and he smashed up one of the big ones for me, also suggested some Madagascar Jasper -- which of course I've heard about -- and some blue lace agate which he considered a find. The cool thing was seeing some of his mystery rocks and projects underway.
Anyhoo. That's the story.

Bunny, Shawn gave us some vivid descriptions of transporting these things. He obviously found it worthwhile!
