I am having fun, it's such a great hobby. I love getting out in the open prairies, away from our bustling city of 6000 people, haha. Seriously, it is a great time- I have so much to learn. I've seen some pretty big lunkers that people have found in my area, still searching for one. I know it's out there somewhere, laughing at me and daring me to find it!

We were in Nebraska, I've been pretty lucky there so far. We've had some pretty good rains this spring. Maybe that helps? On the same trip the friend that I went with found a really nice one in a small washout (almost a small creek) that had about three inches of water in it. He decided to go down in a certain spot randomly and in about 30 seconds he saw it in the water, staring up at him!
