Yesterday went to upload a lot of photos to Flickr. The drag and drop option has been eliminated. Only option I had was to individually select up to 6 photos, one at a time. What a pain! When uploading over 25 photos from multiple folders, this is very time consuming.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I was using a 2017 HP Windows computer with latest version of Chrome. Only have a free Fickr Account.
The plus side is that each photo uploaded can be assigned to a specific folder at time of upload. Just need to create new folders before uploading photos to them. They are no longer called folders, but I forgot what they are called, lol.

Smugmug bought flickr Beth. I believe Smugmug is going to start charging. The flickr format is to remain the same for a while anyway.
I posted a thread on this subject and others commented. Let me go get it.

Yes, I was reading that thread, too. I took no chances and paid $6 a month. Cherish and need my photos for personal and business. I am curious if Smugmug is going to force people to pay after purchasing flickr. Guessing they are going to. Have they blocked you ?

Nope. All I am getting is emails indicating that Flickr is remaining the same and free, for now.

Key words being "for now". I expect all the image hosting sites to follow peebucket's lead and begin charging within the next year or two.
