Wow, has the attachments button been there all this time? I was uploading to Imgur and then posting a link here and this attachment button is like a God send.

The attachments button has been there as long as I have, going on seven years. However, the amount of space to store those photos was always maxed out. Occasionally, the contents would be deleted.
When Tommy took over the helm of this wondrous ship RTH, he made that available again, increasing the storage size. However, space to store photos costs us all. That is why it is limited to 3 photos, no larger than 1 MG each (may have been increased?). It was originally intended to be a temporary solution to help out the newbies, until they got their sea legs, and could figure out how to post pics using another service.

Thanks Jean for the ID and the heads up on the attachments button. I remember a sticky I saw somewhere on the forum that told of the better picture hosting services and have been unable to find it. Do you know which service most are using now?
Thanks Harold
Found the thread on picture posting with the list of providers as a sticky in the "New to the Forum? Please Introduce Yourself" section.

Very nice, I especially like the Cheetah jasper! I have been using village.photos, it's not perfect but it's free and fairly straightforward. Mike
