Good Evening All,
I bought an 8" Slant Cabber (love it) to mess around with until my other machines are up and going. How do you adhere the non PSA Diamond Laps (toppers) to the Backer Plates. I see them selling for around $20 a piece vs. 50-80 for actual diamond laps with the backer plates as one piece but the non Sticky Adhesive backed ones don't say how to adhere them to the Backer plates. Thanks for any help.

You just use a master lap underneath it and use the washer and nut to hold it in place. No adhesive necessary.

covington-engineering.com/supplies/feathering-disc-adhesive/
It will work on metal to metal as well......just let dry a little longer. I've used it with both paper to metal and metal to metal.....even rubber to paper and rubber to metal applications......it will hold up longer than the "toppers" will (at least in my case).

The toppers will stay in place generally if placed over a plastic backer or one of your already mounted laps. If they do happen to slip, put a little water under the topper.
