I pulled my cubes out this morning and they look pretty good ot me. I tried to shoot them on a nice black background but for some reason the camera wouls not focus. I could understand a n exposure problem but I don't know why I had a focus issue. Anyway after a lot of trial nd error I just gave up and lost the black background and shot them on the table. What do you guys think? As I told you they wound up more cube-like than cube but I think they are a little more interesting than busted up chunks. I think I'll run them at least one more week in 60-90 before I move them on. I'm running them in my AR-1 with a bunch of saw dropoff (also in pic) and drop off gravel (not picured) so I don't think they'll lose much mass. I originaly thought I was cutting the cubes at 3/4 inch, but for some reason they wound up being more like 5/8 inch. Oh well. whatever. Later, Bob

Hello Bob! I like the cubes, never seen them before, I think they will look great when they are polished! I will have to add cubes to the list of the things that I will like to try out ;D

Hey Bob,
Those are really looking good!
Now you need a bunch of red and black round discs and you can come up with Rock-Checkers!
Back in high school, I made a checker board out of rock. I purchased the Onyx board (used for Chess) and then used red jasper and black obsidian for the playing pieces. It turned out pretty nice. I am not sure what happened to it. We moved a lot back then, it could be in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Utah, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Texas or Oklahoma ... who knows!
Have a great day!
John

Hey, those are cool! Ice cubes that never melt. I like those mossy-webby looking pieces below too.
