I've got the 225 on a 10' tile saw. Almost useless on harder stuff. Is a 303 or 301 significantly better or just a little? If it makes a big difference I don't mind springing for the more expensive blade, but not if it's only marginally better.
Sorry if this has been covered already. I couldn't find that specific comparison anywhere.

I'm really surprised you find the 225 deficient. I have a 12 inch that has cut agate ad naseum for four very busy years, but I'm using it on a slab saw. Might be how fast you are feeding it. Are your rpm correct for your saw and the blade?

Are your rpm correct for your saw and the blade? I know the saw isn't great, but it's what I can afford. It's rated at 3800 RPM. I've tried slowing it down with a variable speed controller, but that didn't have any effect that I noticed. I don't know what the best RPM for that blade is. Open to suggestions. Thanks.
