I need to get the belt off my motor and arbor from my 8" Raytech Gemmaker the proper way so I can put some new wheels on and clean it up. Anyone know where a video or tutorial is or would care to advise on how to do that would be wonderful. Please and thank you …..I searched You tube and on here to no avail.

Take the belt guard off, then take the housing bolts out of the top (2 black handles on top of the unit), you will have to slip the belt off of the pulley on the motor and then the top housing should be hinged so that it all folds back so you can remove the whole arbor as one piece. This was a slick design, wish more companies would have used it.

PS- You might not have to completely remove the belt guard if you can slip the belt off the pulley through the trap door in the top of the housing. A screwdriver will usually be sufficient, watch your fingers, getting them caught between the belt and the pulley can remove pieces of them.

What Tony said. To remove the grinding wheels you will have to remove at least one bearing.
