So I took that larger piece of petrified wood and decided to try the floor restorer stuff. I wanted it to look a little shinier- not so dry- I wanted to keep the integrity of the piece so I went that route. I'm satisfied with the results, it turned out nice.

Here's a few pictures. One before applying anything, one after, and a picture of the entire polished piece outside.
