Hi All, Oh what a weekend, on sunday I went to help a friend move, and after a day of helping pack boxes etc, he gave me a little present of some things he found in his attic that he thought I might like. In the box was a lortone tumbler 45C NR. And these rocks. I love this slab, I am going to have to get a saw to do these! These polished rocks! This cool looking one! And then this one, I am so lucky! Where's my bell caps? Wheres my jump rings? Wheres my rock hammer? Back off, it's jewlery making time! Those polished stones have an awesome shine, so I reckon that tumbler works mighty well. What are you going to do with the chrystals? That slab will put you in hog heaven since you have a saw. YUMMY!

As for the crystals, not sure what to do with them at this point, but hints on what to do with them are greatly appreicated.
I may save them till I know more about this whole rock thing.

Hey you lucky duck!
The last thing I got from a neighbor was a jar of homemade jelly.
It really was a nice jesture until I opened it up ... It was watered down hog crap! Oh yea, real funny! You would have to know my neighbor ... he's something else. That family has honked their horn every time they drive by the house (on an average of ten times a day)for the last five years ... they think they are being neighborly ...
Boy, you really lucked out ... and I bet it didn't stink up your kitchen either!
Enjoy,
John

I just looked and yeah it does look like that.
Am going to put a load of rough in it tonight (as soon as I write this)
I am going to save the barrell that came with it for polish, and I have some plastic containers that will work I think for rough rocks so am going to give it a try and see what happens. Never know till ya try.
My old tumbler has plastic barrells and seems to be work fine so far.

Have fun, I know I would. Two of my nieces came up to me and said "Aunt Tami would you polish this for me and handed me a rock." Now I know my decision to give them my old rock tumbler as a combined gift is going to a great decision. I know that all three of my youngest sisters kids are on their way to being tumblers. Tami
