WTB Chinese Paintbrush/Nature's Paintbrush

THANX! I'm not sure if it is the same, either. Dolomite sounds right, though. This material is something of a mystery to me. I have seen that it comes from China but also that it comes from the US. Dunno.

So this is what I received - again, I should have specified that I wanted a variety of smaller stones but I didn't. The dendrites are very delicate and pretty in places (depending on the orientation of the cut) but overall the background color is bland and blah and it makes for bland and blah cabochons. I was hoping to hit a home run but I knew immediately that there was not going to be a "money maker" cabochon coming from this rock - instead if I want to make my $90 back I'm going to have to create and sell a bunch of inexpensive bland cabs and I know me, I'll get bored and toss it in the crap pile.

Thanks, Tommy . I can see why you are disappointed. Actually, this looks like some stuff from China that I got a while back called something like Chohua. It was much more red than what I was used to seeing in Nature's Paintbrush.

edit again- Looks like some people are calling chohua Chinese Paintbrush, but as you can see it is not like the pieces I posted.
