I went on a photography spree and took a few photos. Here are the ones that turned out ok. I messed up the inside cabinet photo...oh well....it's where I store all my grit, polishes, and other goodies. The dresser, sadly, is not used for my tumbling at all. I went on a plastic bin buying spree. I found the yellow ones at Lowes and are great for storing small stone (3-5lb's) and of course they're ready to tumble at a moments notice. *chuckles* They were around $6.oo for 8 bins I believe. Not bad....and they lift off the bracket easily. The black container with the 3 clear plastic bins is going to store my jewelry findings. Right now I'm using one of the bins to store amethyst "faceting wannabe's". *signs* Another 4-6 weeks before I think I'll be ready to go to the next stage. Man that tumbler is way too small! I'll continue to improve this area as my energy permits...still need to make a bench! And of course....ever-faithful Caesar...and more rocks! (The bins were .89 each at Target)

Emerald, The bins look like a great deal to store stuff in. I have been cleaning out my "storage room" aka "canning room" soon to be "Rock room" It isnt a big room, 5' by 8' or so, one side is all shelves. It will be mostly for storing all the great rocks I find and buy as well as all my tumbles that I am going to have one day. Should even be able to put in a small rock saw, etc too......dreaming Bunny

Rocky, Got it from lowes too.. (Home Depot might carry it)
I'm almost sure it was 9.95 the black part of the case has a handle, if you don't want to mount it. I just thought it would be easier for me to pull out the plastic bin I needed and leave the rest.
If you can't find one....let me know and if I can, I'll pick up one for you. It has removable dividers for all those tiny parts too! Really handy for storing itty-bitty things!

WOW neato! I don't have a Lowes yet, but we're supposed to be getting one. It will be the first Lowe's in Minnesota. Why they are putting it up here in no-where's land I don't know, unless it's to attract Canadian customers. Can't wait though, they have the neatest stuff. Those yellow bins are great ideas, I'm impressed!! [glow=red,2,300] ~ Cher ~[/glow] pages.prodigy.net/bestsmileys1/signs/RockOn.gif [/img]

Wow, all I've got are cardboard boxes and plastic baggies. Great organization, well thought out, way too clean! You need to get grubby, girl, that's half the fun! Wish I were that organized. Nope, too time consuming. Toss me a baggie and a sharpy, I'll get 'er done ;D Hope those 3-5 lbs. racks are in a stud. What a mess that would be if the sheetrock gave out. Great Job! cookie

Cookie...you're SOOO right. Thanks to my handy stud finder...they're screwed in about every 16" or so.
They're also screwed into the sheetrock about every 4-6". I still may take them down, mount the brackets on a board, then mount the board to the studs to be safe.
I was so excited about getting the rock off the floor and table that I just went ahead with mounting them. I hope I don't regret that.

Oh Boy, I just love your set up!!! Very convenient those yellow bins, I have some like the black one that you have but in white. Hanging them on the wall makes things a lot easier! You are very creative!

You got it going on that setup! Everything so neat, organized and easy to find. Looks great - althought, as someone else said, way to clean! LOL! I'm kinda like Cookie. Ziplocs, paper bags, cut up milk jugs - whatever will hold rocks. I clean up and arrange everything real neat, but the first time I have to recharge, add rocks or whatever, it's a mess again. I just haven't ever been one of those neat-nic people although I wish I was! Sure would make life easier sometimes! Those bins are a great idea! Wish I had room to do something like that and the studs to screw them into, but in an RV, ya' just can't do things like ya' can in a house. Guess I could get some stackable ones if I could just figure out where to stack them! But, you have inspired me to go clean up my rock area mess! llana
