Back in May I was at a well known site near Wendover, UT. Had very little time. When I really needed to be heading back to the car I stumbled on just a hint of a vein in solid rock. After 20 minutes or so, was able to extract this small piece. (4"x2"x1.5") Naturally, covered it back up as best I could, hoping to get back to it one day.
