Yeah, it's a big un. Had pick, pry bar, and shovel in the car, but didn't even try. At that diameter it's probably around 100lbs per foot of length, give or take. Way more than one person can handle if it has any length to it. Didn't want to just start reefing on it and break it up. Need to go back with a 4x4 with a winch, some form of sling and at least one other pair of hands. This area has been extremely "active" in the geological sense, so stuff tends to be pretty broken up. But if there's any intact length I don't want to break it up. Marked GPS coordinates, and covered it back up as much as possible. Kinda surprised it's there. Only about 250 yards from a road in an area that is popular for wood. (Admittedly, I was out there several hours on a Sunday and never saw another car.) Did pick up "about 25 lbs" of nice smaller pieces in the same area though, as well as a few other very interesting pieces.
