Three of these are from Lake Superior. The green striped one that's sort of in the middle is from Lake Huron. I'll eventually cut these into cross shapes and tumble them. I sell them at a local Christian book store and give some to my priest who likes to give them to people. This is from Lake Huron. It looks sort of like some rocks that I find that I call quartzite even though they might not actually be quartzite. Most of the rocks that look similar to this are more speckled and look sort of dirty or something. This one is a much nicer pink.

Seeing your crosses done before, I think that material will make nice ones. I like the colors and patterns.
