I have had a random Facebook message asking to buy a mix of my tumbles. Most of you have probably seen my pics - but it’s a mix of jaspers, agates and some more rare material. I would keep the nicer stuff myself.
He is asking to buy by the 1/2 lb. what is a reasonable starting price per lb of a mix of rock that is tumbled? I don’t really know where to start.

Most on etsy range from a few bucks to in the 30 range for a lb.
Checked a few other sites and they are around 8 to 20
Plus shipping

Throw that price out and see. If he wants it he will pay it, if not you get to keep your rocks

When I buy random finished tumble from estates I usually pay about $5/lb tops, but generally it's like our tumble, scraps from cabbing and slabbing mixes with saw rejects. Figuring that 1/3 of retail is a maximum estate buying target, and your stuff sounding like it's premium quality, your pricing seems about right. Maybe call it $15 for a 1/2 lb bag, $25 for two, and $10 each for four or more to encourage a volume purchase?

The Rock Shed and other stores have tumbled rocks for $5.00 to $25.00/lb. All depends on what they are.
Agree to set a price that you want.
