First up- an ugly bone with a great polish. I don't even know why I bothered to finish it. There's some blue in it, but it just doesn't show well. A little scrap that I just felt like cabbing. A very colorful Vistaite a Burro Creek piece from Tommy . Very cool! Willow Creek. This was marked out on the other side, but this side was better. Here is the back side. Wonderstone dumortierite- I thought it was sodalite at first, but it is definitely the other. Imperial jasper- had a helluva time getting the color to photograph correctly,- I wonder why? There is more pink in it. I can never get enough of Sonora Sunrise or Crimson Cuprite. Thanks for looking!

That is more than a handful of cabs. All very nice. I had a hard time getting a picture of the Maryellen cab and got a decent picture holding it in my hand. If you see orange fingers; Cheetos.

I like them all, but I think the Wonderstone is my favorite

Tela, I have the same problem with the Imperial, In fact, sometimes they don't even show up! Even so, that one is my favorite. Sometimes different backrounds draw the color out (I think)

Nice cabs but are you sure that is a piece from Burro Creek, look more blue than purple to me and I've not seen patterns like that in any agate or pastellite from Burro Creek.

Great looking stuff all the way around. I happen to like the bone. Am I weird?

I'll have to wait for Tommy to pop in and confirm... or I can hunt down the thread he had his in. I'll go look. eta- There is one posted here. I swear I saw others but I can't find them now. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/84269/more-today

My favs are Vistaite, Willow Creek and Burro Creek.
They are all beautiful, though and I like the bone!

Love 'em all, especially the burro creek. Great shine on the wonderstone; I have problems getting more than a high luster on that.

I was at the vistaite site a couple of years ago trying to get some of that material. We dug for about 5 hours and only found a couple of chips. So, I have a real appreciation for it. None of our chips were as nice as your cab either. Man, that whole site was really dug up - looked like a war zone.

Never seen anything like it but there's a lot of things I've never seen...lol.

It's sort of a one-off piece - nothing else I found really compares to it. Beautiful pseudo-plumes and interesting colors - kind of a purplish blue.

Nice bunch, Tela. That's a super shine on the Wonderstone. The vistaite is beautiful!
