One of my favorite gifts for males is a special version of their favorite beverage. Most of these have been gourmet items they would never purchase themselves, or hard to find items. Coffee beans, pop, alcoholic beverages, to name a few. All were greatly appreciated.

He doesn't drink beer or any alcohol and he isn't picky about coffee or tea. That'd be cool if I could get him a bunch of micro brews. He does love Mexican food, though. Maybe that's whats for dinner. It's a rare food around here. The rest of us don't like it, so he doesn't get it very often

A pocket knife with stone scales. A pocket knife always comes in handy and something that you partially made would be more special.

I gave him a pocket watch a few years ago and he uses it all the time. I'm thinking Christmas gift now. I have the time. edit- that was a typo- I meant that I gave him a pocket KNIFE a few years ago.

Hmmm, husband always has a small pocket knife with him. He also likes hiking trips that come with breakfast out and dinner to bring home. Books and puzzle books also appreciated, and I make him his favorite dinner and favorite pie (lemon meringue). Since he likes yard work, I get him new clippers. Yes, it's hard!

All great suggestions! Except he doesn't tumble- wish he would. DH is getting Mexican on the way home. He doesn't care for yard work, but he does enjoy his hobby and dining out. My daughter got him a bracelet. It's nice, but I didn't think he would wear it as he already wears one, but he is wearing it. Surprised me.

Dollarshaveclub is a nice gift comes in the mail once a month Nothing more frustrating than scraping the face with dull razors
What is it with facial hair ? Just keeps growing as if everything is going along swimmingly
Talking about grooming A kit with nail clippers, tweezers, rounded pointed scissor In a nice display box is gift that gives for years...

My husband always says that for his birthday, he wants to sleep in, have a clean house, his favorite meal (chicken and dumplings) and his favorite desert (homemade pumpkin cheesecake) and the last few years, he is adding not having to share the pumpkin cheesecake with anyone (yup, not going to happen, we all love the cheesecake too much).

The only thing I would add to that is food. Yep, food and drink. What else do we need?

Yup, sounds a lot like my DH. He's easy to please. He LOVES this pumpkin bread - slash - loaf cake that my sister in law makes. She always makes him his own, so he doesn't have to share. Great with cream cheese. I always used to make my dad a sour cream peach pie. He loved it.

Happy Birthday some guy I don't know A day of calm and silence with no expectations. LOL! I told him you said that. He said, "Hey." The expectation of that happening has come and gone. It's always a madhouse here.

Guilty as charged. You are right, that is not always true.
Apologies offered.

Today is DH's birthday. For the last several weeks, I have been trying to figure the best gift and gave up. Usually I get him a gift card to his hobby shop, but I wanted to do something different and, well, today is the day and I am empty handed. I know what I can do for him that is free, but what can I buy? What do you guys think? What have been some of your best gifts? Or, what would you like that no one has thought of. (Let's keep it clean. I have already alluded to the sexy gifts. ) We usually don't do anything in the gift realm for anything. Pick the occasion...we're usually not buying anything for each other. The lack of gift giving is usually offset by other expenditures that have taken place through the year or just prior to the "special" day. It works well for us. That said, sex is good. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.
