Tela rockjunquie - You must have put it some place safe, lol. I have a little bit of it, also from Diane drocknut . It was the prize in a guess the mileage contest (Thanks, Diane) But what I've got is mostly small tumble pieces, not big honkin' awesome slabbables!

I put it in a bucket of favorites.... safe right? a friggin' BUCKET. You'd think I could find it. But, I guess it might have been stolen. Dunno.

Aha, that could be your problem Tela rockjunquie! In a bucket! Which one? You don't even want to know how many buckets I have here full of rocks, lol. If it is just one rock or slab that is cool, I tend to put it on a shelf where it is easy to see. Problem is, I sometimes feel like doing some cabbing, and pull I'll it down, thinking I'll do some work it. Then I'll run out of time, and now, it is no longer in a safe place. It is in a safe place "somewhere else." Can you relate? Do you have a place where you stage rocks you are going to work on? When you do find it (and you will ), you are going to want to do the "Doh! Coulda had a V-8" slap upside the head, lol. Bet me!

I HAVE to put stuff away when I am done.

That's one way to keep your horizontal surfaces empty, lol. Mine is just everywhere, looks like a rock explosion!
A three-bedroom house for only two people, on one-fifth of an acre is just way too much space to put "things."

What are you thinking woman!!, I felt a great disturbance in the Force! never use that sort of language on this forum, even in jest!! That's just as onerous as "I have too many rocks" .... I need to sit down and have an early beer to get myself back together
