Many thanks to woodman (Bob) who graciously slabbed and polished my father-in-law's piece of chert taken from his creek. I'm hoping he will like this as it is nice piece representative of his property / creek and even more so because his grand-daughters found it!
I can't thank Bob enough - he was very gracious and I appreciate the help (and so quickly might I add). He even threw in a thunder egg, small slab of triple-flow obsidian, and picture jasper just for fun.
To all of those here at the forum who help others I thank you much and hope to do the same.
This rock is approx 5 in x 6 in x 1.5 in. Bob made an undercut as well so it would stand upright
