We stopped by a place that had some poor quality amyethst, but it was still cool, and we decided to check out a hill close to where it was also, this is what we found.
Calcite cyrstals....very fragile stuff.
This is the hill where the amyethst is at.
Hope you can see the veins of amyethst in the rock here.
Some amyethst that was laying around:
Some odds and ends from the other hill.
This one had a cool looking brown round thing in it, have no idea what it is, but looked neat.
Not sure what these are, one is the inside peice of a geode I think. The bigger brown one is smooth inside, Cindy thought it might be jasper, but not 100% sure.
