Since I'm bloody well a coward...here's one item thats pretty much ready to go on ebay. Feedback is welcome if it's not too brutal. ;D onyxhollow.com/html/ebay/ebay_1.htmlThis was a weird one...it actually had some smokey quartz in it. Actually not as pretty as some of the other pieces, but unusual. The other pics are forthcoming. It's a $%*&@ to photograph. Clear on White matrix is exceptionally hard to photograph. (Unless I show a 3000 pixel by 4000 pixel image on the web...NOT)

KD yep....not for tumbling! ;D
Kim...thanks. Soon...just put that page up to show all of you guys. More to follow. Taking forever with the photos. Spent most of the day tweaking an "ebay" template to use too. Though, now it's done, it'll be alot easier.

Very cool and nicely done on the web page. Those pics are really good, easy to see the colors, nice and clear.

Sandman...hope it sells, though not sure what to sell it for yet. Gonna figure that one out tomorrow!
Also, now you know why I'm taking forever and a day to create the initial ebay page. I've already changed it a couple of times! (so it's different than what's on that link.)
I remember doing gallery photos before (that shows up in the ad with everybody else and will help your items get noticed.) I avoid spending money on the frills and focus on putting everything (html) in the description area. What IS worth the money is the gallery picture. (think the image size is 64 pixels by 64 pixels. and it's only .25 cents.)
If you ever need any html help...I'd be happy to offer you whatever help you may need. I made a fairly easy to modify template that I can just change a few things and copy and paste into the ebay window. That offer goes for my other rockhounding buddies as well!
I have my own server, so it does make it easy to store photos and I use Dreamweaver for my html editor. Personally, I hate (repeat hate) Microsoft Word for html. It throws in alot of crazy code that is harder than heck to edit out and makes everything look awful. I'd rather have someone just give me the text in an email and attach photos than have to disect a microsoft word doc for content. ;D

hey Emerald, when you put it up on ebay, make sure to let us know what the addy is okay? I'm always interesting in watching auctions and depending what you ask, I might be able to bid. It's gorgeous.

Hermatite, I would feel guilty selling to my new found buds here on the forums....you guys have been very supportive of my erratic ways!
I have several pieces I'd be more than willing to trade for some rough rock if you'd prefer.

That is an absolutely gorgeous listing ... I might have to get in touch with you and see what you can work up for me.
Enjoy,
