siberiantimes.com/science/casestudy/features/f0100-stone-bracelet-is-oldest-ever-found-in-the-world/I’m not sure how the author speculates, from 40,000-year-old pinky bone, that devisovan were 7 feet tall? But it not inconceivable impossible. Unfortunately- even tho I’m supposedly retired after 63.3 years of labor- I don’t have time to watch the video. Only listen to it in my sleep. Nonetheless it led me to this speculative article about early jewelry making. I found it really interesting. Working chlorite for the love of my life 50,000 years ago is project I still carry on I can fix broken bracelet and hearts Mostly eta whoops teeth were also found and analyzed so that may avvcount for there gigaticus nature

Denisovans were only discovered in 2008. We are just beginning to learn about them.
I'm thinking those people were the megalithic builders - AND they were in Peru and Bolivia!

Well I’ll have to hold off on that leap of logic
But I suppose its possible that early hominids were huge in stature Definitely they had their rock n roll down
But even if they were more moderately sized like me short & big brained ha ha
they still accomplish incredible stone work...

(Haven't watched the video, so hopefully I'm not out of line.) Most ancient cultures had stories about a race of giants. Even Judaism. Usually the result of interbreeding between beings from the spiritual world and humans. Perhaps the Denisovans were the reason for these stories?

I agree that myths have nuggets of truth They may even be all true Who knows -I guess.
Unfortunately they have too much truth in them so its possible to make anything out of them
That the Denisovan’s were of gigantic stature Hasn’t been conclusively proven or that they Populated enough to build certain monolith seems a bit of stretch
But certainly we are learning that ancient hominids Were much more advance than popularly believed Well what do we mean by advance?
They were certainly more crafty and innovative than Popular culture depicted as ya know... knuckle dragging Neanderthal
Best I can tell archaeologist, and or scientifically bent humans--- are digging through the history trying to discover the most probable truth….
That not particularly very satisfying But it’s the best we have right now

Perhaps the Denisovans were the reason for these stories? The skeleton in the photo is a deceptively photoshopped creation, not a real Denisovan skeleton. There currently are only 2 small fragments of bone and 2 teeth from confirmed Denisovans, so there is no real evidence that they were large or much of anything that can be deduced about their anatomy, appearance, etc. Most of what distinguishes them is known from DNA extracted from the teeth, which shows that the individuals discovered thus far were not the same as Neandertals, though they did share some Neandertal traits. It appears that they, like the Neandertals, were "robust" (in other words: thicker bones but not necessarily, or even likely, longer bones). Certainly, human or human-like skeletons that are larger than most modern humans have been unearthed. Whether these were isolated individuals with a hormone problem, or representative of populations of very large people, hasn't been very well explored. I just don't see any evidence that the Denisova cave contained anything that could be described as a "giant."

The one myth I think is really truthful (on a psychological level ) Whether your 10 feet tall Or a regular dude Myth of Sisyphus That comes from the fact That moving those stones Was hard punishing work w/ no end in sight ,,, m stly

I find it interesting and puzzling that the consensus belief is that "upright man" evolved around 1.8 million years ago and based on the earths geologic "continent evolution" as presented by Ron Blakey and Wayne Ranny, (somewhat generally accepted) by the experts, indicates that the Americas land mass convergence and separations could have been traversed (in theory) by two-legged individuals (there is direct evidence that 4 legged mammals made the trek here) about 8 million years ago......why no evidence of Homo Erectus pops-up on these continents until (the current estimate) about 15,000 years ago......
I'm aware that a recent study out of the University of San Diego suggests that it may have occurred around 130,000yrs ago, but no DNA analysis has been supported. I'm also aware the glacial occurrences prior and shortly after 8 million years ago separated the land masses........but even if the continents were not accessible by land until 5 million years ago........that means "upright man" had approx. 3.2 million years to follow the climate and food trail to either the south or north America's........?
Another additional curiosity lies in the fact that as recent as 5yrs ago, evidence of another gene pool related to the Homo Erectus family has cropped-up adding to the already accepted 7 or 8 category's experts agree on, yet all relate to south, southeast/west Asia's and north African land masses.......?.......still nothing found here.
As Dave has provided information establishing land mass evolution, and has demonstrated that the North and South Americas are probably some of the "youngest" mass formations (Earth time) existing today.......it is still a wonder to me with the obvious millions of years separation, no two-legged evolution occurred on these land masses........?
Maybe our creators found it easier and faster to mix, match and stabilize chromosomes than it was to mix, match and stabilize water, rocks and gravity.......lol....!

Here a problem Mans quest Let say since the enlightenment era Is getting buried in minutia
Those of the religious bent had many answers/// maybe all They warned their compradres About the hubris of thinking
But off we went--- digging measuring reasoning & Overloaded with immeasurable past & infinite space...
The truth is no more satisfying then the myths were to the Greeks
O that dam balance thing

what paleogeneticist are confirming
& which probably comes as no surprise
Is that a lot of strange sex was practiced by are ancestors how they overcame so many obstacles is incredible
life what a trip
Don’t want to get to lost in Internet instant knowledge Like to gather most of my information The old fashion way-reading books
But this is a new age of instant over- facts & foolishness
Things are moving quickly though So what can we do ? but be thrown into the fast moving river of science
Geneticc research does fascinate yet only understand 1% of it Not surprising I only understand 3% of geology ha
I found this you tube humorous and informative
