The face of the first cut looked great. Do you slab very many Petoskey stones? I have never been happy with the results of slabbing them. All of my jewelry pieces are created from cab size nodules that produce one cab each. The fist sized ones I did try slabbing would have been worth way more if I would have left them alone and just polished them whole.
I just noticed your first cut shows a cladapora fossil in the top left corner too.

I have a couple more to play with but not today.
