First of all...THANK YOU to everyone that has donated expertise, advice, material and even a very kind monetary donation for supplies to Sophia's Rock Shop 3/21 Rocks. Rockhounds really are the kindest and most sharing of folks. We are looking for a source for some tumbles for making our gem bugs while we get our tumblers going. The more vibrant the better. Anyone that has or knows of a reasonably priced place please let me know. We were able to get our caps, soldering gun, googly eyes and epoxy with the kind donation from one of RTHs very own. Thank you, Jason and Sophia.

Could you post photos of the items you want to make? That would help us in selecting what we should send to you.

Having trouble posting pics from phone without a link (have been researching on here) but tumbles 1/2"-1" with the sweet spot being 3/4". Just big enough to sit in a flattened 7 prong bell cap and have a small set of googly eyes placed on them. Thank you all. Got the idea from a 25 plus year old rockhound magazine the owner of our new (old) slab saw owner's wife showed us. Thank you all.

If you live near me and have a pickup truck, I can show you were to literally load your truck with river tumbled agates, jaspers, obsidians, quartz, etc etc etc.... and all free! Just have to harvest them yourself.

I just sent a SFRB in the mail for you packed with almost 5 lbs of highly polished pieces mostly in the 1" range - some smaller, some larger. This are my saw scraps that accumulated for a while before getting tossed in the tumbler as fill material. I've been holding on to them for a long time waiting for the right thing to do with them. I hope Sophia finds a few nice buggies in the bunch Whatever doesn't make the cut to become a bug, please send them home in kid's pockets if that's appropriate or use your discretion in generating the maximum amount of smiles with them.

Tommy, You are "amazical" as Sophia says. Thank you so much and we will pass out the little guys with Sophia's cards at weightlifting, bowling and the Down Syndrome society Buddy Walk at the beginning of October to all the kids...(and to generate some interest from the parents for the shop if that sounds good Thank you again. Jason and Sophia
