johnw We need to get you a hobby!!! Hi HankRocks, thank you. I do have a hobby, really, I tumble Bahia agate nodules and just started to tumble Mexican Lace nodules. I have also started to collect Specimens of Mex Lace, Laguna Lace and any other lace from Chihuahua that resemble cakes and pastries and other objects, human or otherwise and am also searching for some really big lace rocks => 20 pounds, to tumble. When I first joined the RTH forum, I ran into the "what do you see in a stone" site, seemed like a good idea and I offered, like others, samples of what I saw in the rocks I was tumbling, but, as it was said, "once you start, its difficult to stop." So that said, did you "see" the Keeper? Cheers, johnw Here is one of my latest images, sculptured by nature, in a piece of pyrite matrix less than an inch in length. Even Auguste Rodin the 18th century sculptor would have had difficulty duplicating this image in bronze.

I have to admit, the Keeper had me scratching my head, but the pyrite one is really cool!

I have to admit, the Keeper had me scratching my head, but the pyrite one is really cool! Hi Bucknutty, Yahoooo, I feel vindicated. The Keeper will either prove out to be an anomaly created by digital imaging that created an image we thought we recognized as a human form, or it will be just a mass of material. Hopefully when I get my micro lens I can solve this issue by micro imagining from various angles. As to the face in pyrite matrix, thank you for the compliment. Admittedly it's small but clearly there is a face there and it is reminiscent of what Auguste Rodin crafted in various metals including iron and bronze during his illustrious lifetime. Cheers, johnw
