This is a mixed batch I finished last night. This is a typical load with mixed sizes. The first set of photo's came out with a blue tint and I don't know why.The rest of the photo's came out without the blue tint? You figure?? OHIO FLINT Australian Pet Wood Australian Pet Wood Texas Agate/Jasper OHIO FLINT ____________________________________________ The rest of the photo's came out without the blue tint. Texas Jasper Same piece of Australian Pet Wood Texas Pet Wood Texas Pet Wood Texas Jasper Arkansas Clear Quartz 6 roughs in #30 grit 2 roughs in #60/90 (roughing done in rotary tumbler) (the following done in vibe unit) 3-24hr roughs #220 grit 1-72 hr run #600 1-48 hr run #1000 1-24 hr run Tripoli 1-36 hr run Rapid Polish #61 I'm sorry for the blue tint and some blurry photo's but I was in a hurry chasing a gloomy daylight as it was. Those blues are awesome, too bad they didn't turn out right though, that's so frustrating. Gorgeous shine and that Austrailian Pet Wood is gorgeous. They must be stunning to look at. Love that mex lace too, I just have to get me some of that. Thanks for sharing, love looking at pics.

Hi Tom, Excellent job my friend!!!! I just love the shine on your rocks. The clear quartz looks like ice cubes slowly melting. The variety of color is great. I like all of them, can't decide which ones are my favorite. Keep up the great work!!

Well folks thanks for all the nice comments.I really appreciate them,,,,,And it eases the pain of waiting for the rocks to be finished!! Cookie: The clear quarts is shards from crystals a friend from TX found in Arkansas. Most people who collect there only keep the crystals they find and discard the shards. What a shame for us "tumblers"!! Kim: The Rapid Polish #61 is used in vibe units and I don't have a clue what the #61 is!!When I polish in my rotary tumblers I use cerium oxide and get the same results. Thanks again Folks,,,,,Ya made my day!! Tom

Ace batch, all around. I was going to say that I'd never seen quartz so clear except as crystals, but your last message explains that. Good going!
