Started to look closer and found the keeper, here he is, plus a female friend and her male companion. Clearly they are from the Cenozoic Era being the time of our early ancestors during the age of mamals. 66-1.8 MYA (million years ago) I am the Keeper I am his female friend
I am her friend
Pretty neat, huh? all came from the same specimen posted yesterday... more to come. Cheers, johnw

I belong to a site that people post photos of rocks with stories within the rocks... Pretty cool... Hi Fossilman, the images are what they are and how people first "see" them will determine their visual reactions. The narrative that goes along with the images provides a cognitive "push" to perhaps persuade the reader to "see" it differently than first observed. Its just proviides a different point of view. No pun intended. Cheers, johnw "Cognition, the states and processes involved in knowing, which in their completeness include perception and judgment. Cognition includes all conscious and unconscious processes by which knowledge is accumulated, such as perceiving, recognizing, conceiving, and reasoning."
