I spent the last couple days cutting open about 15 pounds of these little agates. I could not resist face polishing this one for instant gratification. I was hoping to tumble some of these but face polishing is what they really need. I used my rotary flat lap which I have not used for this type of work in several years. I think a bull wheel or Richardson sander is the tool that would be better suited. Thanks for looking Chuck

I now have at least 100 that are worth face polishing but will never get around to it. I may have to try tumbling at least a few. I would wan to keep the backs as natural as possible so maybe I will just run them in the vibe tumbler and skip stage one. Getting grits and polishes cleaned between stages and after polish would be a chore. Chuck

Excellent. Agree that stage cleaning while polishing will be a chore, but should be worth it.
