This comes from an old collection I purchased a few years back. Decent sized chunks that work well for cabbing, especially if you do free-forms. If you have access to a trim saw or tile saw, many pieces will yield 2-3 cabs. I see no reason this stuff wouldn't be excellent for tumbling as well.
The box is stuffed to the brim with 3.2lb. of rock, which often retails for more than $25/lb. The way I figure it, if you can cut 3 cabs and sell them for $25 apiece, you've more than made your money back. I've cabbed many nice pieces from this material, and had success with every piece I cut. I did not count, I just stuffed the box, but I would be surprised if there were fewer than 40 pieces.
Colors are mostly yellow, peach, white and black. A few have the coveted purplish-red. Some pieces have black dendritic patterns. I haven't cabbed any of these, so I can't honestly say whether they are on the surface, or if they go into the rock.
I can do one box of this, as it will eat most of my stock, so FCFS.
