Hey Puppie. They look like some sort of quartz. I've got some of the yellowish ones from a load of rocks I picked up at my brother-in-laws place here in Calif. They tend to fracture pretty easily, which leads me to believe they are quartz. They came out nice. I really like the small red one with the black or dark grey outer covering.
Good job, Ed
ps. the pics didn't show up on the board, just the links.
pss. never mind about the ps- when I went back, the pics were there. I guess I'm living up to my name! No wait a minute, I don't smoke that stuff anymore!

Such small pics!...hard to see things clearly, or maybe I need glasses?
Looks like an ace tumbling job. And the pita and hummus is making me hungry.
The only stone I really recognize is the second-to-last one, which I'm pretty sure is potassium feldspar with a band of quartz running through it.

Ummm....I dorked it up.
First, I had the links not the photos.
Next, I had huge ones that made the message crawl too far across. I cleverly tried to fix this.
Next, I fixed it. But Good. Fixed it so you could only see it with a microscope.
Finally. I have it half fixed. At least the photos fit the screen now. This is why I don't post more pictures.
I will not attempt the green rocks tonight!
