Haha, yes, something like that! Fortunately, it was obviously a prairie agate. However, the inside was a bit of a surprise. I didn't really expect as many colors and I thought that the bands would be more parallel. Just goes to show that I have a lot to learn. I should have taken a pic before I sliced it, but here's a look at the outside

Nice find! You never know with those if the patterns are surface only or go all the way through.
