...part 2 because if you didn't see James' stuff, take a look: andy321.proboards16.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1094691903I have a bag of "shards" of this stuff and it is one of my favorite. Generally grey and purple rock with beautiful parallel white bands. I recommend the stone to you because it is fairly easy to get a beautiful shine. - 50/85 (can't remember exact size, but not 60/90) 2 weeks
- 220 1 week
- prepolish 1 week
- titanium oxide polish 1 week
- borax burnish 1 day
The botswana was put in with some confetti jasper (top), yellow jasper, clear rutilated agate/quartz (left), tiger jasper (bottom), and other stuff. This is a chunk of polkadot jasper with no polkadots. It looks more like autumn jasper. More of it in polish right now. Confetti:

Wonderful job with the agates, Skipper. Where did you score the rough from?
That confetti jasper is amazing also!

The tiger, confetti and botswana were all picked up at the local lapidary here www.greenslapidary.com. However, I've never seen them sell botswana rough since then. I was thrilled to get this big bag of shards and you can see why. Ya - the confetti is quite nice. It came in a few bags of "pot luck" I got from Green's, but the also sell it in bags on their own.

Wow , I love your batch of rocks. Confetti, Yeah great !! Botswana agates SUPER , I always pick up a few extra stones with bands in them or dotted ones.
Some rocks here on the beach look a bit like dalmation stones
Thanks for showing

You really did a great job of it. I love looking at these pics, it's so interesting to see the different stones polished up. Thanks for sharing, Cher

Wow! You got a hell of a lot of good stuff there. I kinda like the rugged look opposed to the rounder stuff.
That titanium really put a shine on them! Good job again!!!
