This was my first run at it: andy321.proboards16.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1095742407Recently I did another batch leaving them a bit longer in prepolish. I don't think it improved the shine much over the last batch, but I sure do love the colors. Rough: Finished: You may notice that there is a chunk of snowflake obsidian in this batch. it's kinda ugly, so I've since broken it up and will send it through again. My favorites and the sworly yellows which look fantastic. Tip: If you have an art school in your area, go and ask about grabbing leftover scraps from blowing glass. We have one in Calgary but I haven't made the trip yet... Mahogany Obsid

The shine looks somewhat better I think, particularly in the first "finished" photo. Colours can't be beat!

I know I was one of the purists that said not to tumble seaglass, but in truth your finished stuff looks more like the real seaglass that I've seen than the rough does. Good job.

Skipper, those are so pretty! I love the red/yellow sworly ones too! I forgot I had a piece of snowflake obsidian and didn't put it in the the rest and was kinda sorry I didn't remember it - now that you said it's kinda ugly, I'm not so sorry! It's a small slab so guess I will work it on the grinder and see what happens. llana
