Thanks all, I'm still learning this camera and right now, that's as close as I can get. OK, top row: crazy lace agate, amethyst, red jasper, sodalite. 2nd row: flint, x3 3rd row: flint, goldstone, Flint ridge flint. 4th row: tree agate, red jasper (it took such a good polish all you can see is reflection, looks like a choclate bar in real life) tree agate. This isn't the best camera, but I'll keep working on closeups, zooming in and stuff. Getss blurry if I get closer than 8 inches, even on macro. This thing eats batteries, too. Shouldn't I get more than 10-12 shots from 2 AA"s?

Pho, it's embarrassingly easy, you can do it, no dought! I have to post at 600 pxels at the most and it just looses something. Can you post enlargements if the detail is better? KD, not sure what I'mm gonna do wit it, it's kinda big for a pendent, but that's all I can think of. That's why it's not mounted yet.

Thanks Cher. Funny, those are my least favorite, they didn't take a very good polish. Everyone seems to like them, tho. I've been holding back on selling them, guess I better put them out! Thanks,

Cookie...I use a program called Paint Shop Pro to look at enlarged pictures...can get right down to the nitty girtty on that one....like counting pixils...but the bigger it is enlarged the more gainy it gets as usual.. To get a realy good enlargement I would need the orginial picture....best if digital...

Cookie et al. forgive me for what I am about to do...I'm so weak.
(clears throat....) "we had joy we had fun we had pendants in the sun but the rocks we could reach were just leverites on the beach..."
Phew...I had to do that. To those of you now humming the song stylings of Terry Jacks, I apologize.
